A TRIBUTE TO THE IOWA CHICAGO & EASTERN - VOL 2: IOWA

DVD: $860.00 TWD

The Canadian Pacific purchased both the Dakota Minnesota and Eastern and sister railroad, Iowa Chicago and Eastern in October of 2007. Ownership formally changed hands in 2008. Although the Iowa Chicago and Eastern had a short life, the railroad changed the face of the former Milwaukee Road lines. In this program, C. Vision cameras capture the IC&E's main line trains in Iowa. In our journey, we begin with action in the Soo Line Days in the early 1990's and a brief look at IC&E's predecessor I&M Rail Link. Witness the variety of traffic the IC&E ran on their River, Marquette and Mason City Subdivision's. We capture trains through the beautiful scenery along the Mississippi River from Brownsville, MN to Linwood, IA and through classic river cities including Davenport and Dubuque. On the Mason City Sub, we will follow trains from Marquette to Mason City. On this line, you will enjoy the sight and sounds of SD-40 dash 2's in throttle 8 climbing the grade of Calmar Hill and encountering the beautiful countryside Iowa has to offer. Pre and post-CP takeover footage is featured, so don't miss a look at this unique fallen flag in A Tribute to the Iowa, Chicago and Eastern, Volume 2: Iowa's Main Lines! List price $29.95, 120 minutes, 4:3 Full Screen, HiFi Stereo Sound, Narration on/off. SKU: TICE2DVD. Posted 4-3-11.
