ROCK ISLAND'S MID-CONTINENT ROUTE IN THE 1960'S

Captured from the film camera of Louis Schaefer, you will see The Rock operating between St. Paul, Minnesota and Mason City, Iowa, along with a few other Iowa locations. Passenger trains are seen led with E-3メs and E-8メs. Joint power from CB&Q is also captured on the Zephyr Rocket. Freight trains are led with a variety of Rock Island power including F-7メs, Alco FA1メs, GP-7メs and GE U-Boats. Paint schemes include Maroonメs, Redメs and the Light Blueメs. Louis also captured trackage rights trains from the Illinois Central and Chicago & North Western that operated on the Midcontinent Route. One train was led with Chicago Great Western locomotives and another with all CNW F Units!
